No! The reason I called bullshit is that it doesn't follow that they would need to divulge any information about the giveaway to someone giving them a helping pointer. It's not as though you found a backdoor to the gift download area, itself, and they bought your silence

Obviously they want the traffic and they need the element of surprise for that. If it got out what it was it would spread like wildfire and then they wouldn't have a good measure of response for their promotion.
