There is no standalone version so the Program Files folder only contains the uninstaller. The plugin should be installed in your standard VST folder.

Why don't you give it a try? It's not like you will have to waste much bandwidth or something. It's not a big download, for nowadays parameters. If you don't like it, you can always uninstall it later.

I don't live in the 3rd world with bandwidth limitations, I just tried to lazy myself out of the registration and installation. Too much to ask I guess

Are the Ableton/Cytomic filters ladder based? If not, and if they're not of ultra quality now, i wouldn't know what speaks against checking the Minifilter out.

Sounds nice to me, i wished some of my synths had a filter like that.
