Well, this is certainly fun when combined with the softube saturation knob.

that was quite my state of mind too...sprnva wrote:OuchKevin [Arturia] wrote:compatible with Logic Pro X not Logic 9.

I spent a couple of minutes with it. It sounds pretty good but the tilted 3D GUI of knobs seems outdated. We have things like The Drop which beautifully animates dual filters and LFOs.
The License Center thingie works pretty well. It noticed my SEM V was outdated and with one click I was updated. Very convenient.

Not to sound ungrateful... I tried it and found it's 50% hype and 50% meh. If you're talking free filter offers, NI's Driver a few years back wipes the floor with this.

Indeed. I'm still on Logic v9.x myself. That and the requirement to use a DRM tool on freeware... Well, no thanks.sprnva wrote:OuchKevin [Arturia] wrote:Hi Michael, the MiniFilter V is compatible with Logic Pro X not Logic 9.

Driver is a neat unit, but the only thing these two have in common are freq and resonance knobs.

Have yet to install still..being lazy. But, I'm sure you can have fun with this idea by using something like Bidule or patcher(Fl Studio).GaryOpenH wrote:can this filter be triggered by midi notes or incoming audio? in that case how? (got it installed)

having fun with this? wanna have more? kept your Kore? template's here.
@arturia, would you please do us all a huge favor and learn how to put your synced and free LFO rates on the same damn automation parameter like just about everybody else does please? it's ok on your plugins from 9 years ago; it's not on this one which you just made. cheers

It's funny how most complaints come from folks who don't own anything by Arturia

Did anyone else get the notice that there is an update available ? I was scanning for an unrelated plugin in FL Studio and got the message an update for MiniV is available. Not sure if the scan is what caused the message or if the Arturia Software Center does a periodic check for any updates.
Anyway I downloaded and installed the update. Not too sure what's new. Guess I could check the Arturia site to see the change log. Probably bug fixes I would imagine......

Yes. I was wondering what was happening. I've never seen a pop-up notification from Arturia before.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

So the notification just popped up out of the blue for you ? If so that means the Arturia Service Center is connecting to check for updates. Not a fan of that. Not a big deal on this system but a no no on the studio computer.Aloysius wrote:Yes. I was wondering what was happening. I've never seen a pop-up notification from Arturia before.
EDIT: I see there is an option to turn off notifications so that's cool........

Thanks, I poked around but didn't find it. Still can't get the Env Follower to Sweep the Cutoff as can be done with The Legend FX. Perhaps it's not intended to work that way in the Mini V.........sprnva wrote:MiniFilter release notesTeksonik wrote:Anyway I downloaded and installed the update. Not too sure what's new.
