echo indigo i/o with acer laptop

I can´t get to work my new indigo i/o with my Acer 803 LCi laptop:

after re-installing cardbus-drivers, and the echo-drivers, I finnaly got a "blue light" on the indigo, but the sound produced with my soft-synths is distorted,
but what´s worst : after re-setting the computer, he can´t recognize anymore the souncard (device can´t initiate -code 10)

in a shop, I checked out an other pcmcia card which seemed to work,and -very strange- the echo card worked on another laptop....
the laptop is in guarantee, but I can´t tell the service center "one card works but the other no..."

what can I do ????

Oddly enough, this sounds similar to the problem I had with my Echo and my Hewlett Packard lappy.

It ended up being a conflict with my cardbus controller. This problem is so widespread they have developed a utility to alter the offending cardbus controller's settings.


Long story short, I emailed them, they sent me the utility, and I was up and running in under five minutes.

*edit* Crap, I just noticed part of your post I skimmed over So you're saying another Echo card worked in your laptop?
