@arturia, would you please do us all a huge favor and learn how to put your synced and free LFO rates on the same damn automation parameter like just about everybody else does please? it's ok on your plugins from 9 years ago; it's not on this one which you just made. cheers

Yes it's nice to have the option to turn off notifications so it doesn't check at the wrong time and you can check manually when it's convenient.

So far there is nothing in the Arturia Service Center that would keep me from installing it on my studio computer. Doesn't seem to run as a service etc.....

I won't install it for the Mini V because as I said it's a nice plugin but I rarely if ever use external filters and have others at my disposal already that came bundled with other plugins such as The Legend FX version.

However if I ever buy the Obie or Synclaiver plugins I would install the ASC on my studio computer and feel comfortable about it after having tested it on this system......... :)

This is greatly useful for me, as it saves me, as a noob, from buying a filter plugin for now. I am quite enjoying the sound manipulation I can do with this. Also downloaded demos of some of their instruments. Interesting products. Are they known for good support to paying customers? It's just that i am so new to the virtual world that I haven't a clue on which plugin vendor is good or not so good.

If you look through the Arturia forums, you'll see they have a habit of neglecting old products and constantly churning out new ones. So thoroughly demo anything by them before you buy.

Only thing that really annoys me about the software center is that it lacks an 'Update All' button. On OSX at least they all have to be installed individually, and the installers are a good 7 or 8 clicks and a password. When Arturia do an update push throughout the range I usually just redownload the full installer off the website.

As for the plugin, it's fun! The sequencer in particular reminds me of the Brother From Another Mother synth that was part of the Engineering workshop at this year's Moogfest. I didn't go but I do have a Mother-32, and I think I want to try out some of these patches...

Everything, and I mean, ALL of the 17 instruments that compose the V Collection 5, have been updated several times since the launching. If you didn't keep current with what Arturia has been doing lately, don't spread misinformation. Yes, in the last years, they neglected the software, because thet had been busy with the hardware, but things improved (A LOT) since the launching of V Colletion 5.

As an original owner of MinimoogV..now MiniV, I've only had good experiences with them. In fact, I can upgrade for $20. This is around 10 years later. That's great.

I globally agree with your statement, but nonetheless i, for one, deplore that such a promising product as Arturia Brass that was almost the only physically modeled brass in the market (except the trumpet with Mile'stone from Liquih AFAIK) has been abandoned...

Doesn't seem likely. I did some digging around and it seems none of the current version V Collection 5 plugins will work in Logic 9. At least with those you can get the older versions from the Arturia download section.

Looking inside the audio unit it's just a wrapped VST3 so this is probably one reason Logic 9 can't see it. Checked the previous Analog Lab 2 release and that loads fine in Logic 9. So it's nothing to do with using a wrapped VST3. It's probably down to the updated SDK.

Live is my main DAW these days anyway but it's nice to have options. I guess at some stage I'll have to look into getting Logic X.

Thanks Arturia!
