It's obviously a false notification. This was reported with the demo installer and version 1.0.0 too. I think in that regard AVG is overly sensitive. I already used the AVG whitelistings service. This is ridiculous. A software vendor can't create an account for every antivirus software out there. . Really annoying to tell them they should rescan every new build. They don't even bother telling me why it's reported.

In the options virenquarantäne there is button "zur analyse senden"(german), it is possible to send this file to AVG. I have done this. then can see what happen. what i not understand, wy this installer create the same exe file in temp dir. normaly extract files are create in temp dir.

Pleased about this FM operator is coming. Some synths really shine in the 2 op FM department it would be great if Rapid could sound clean and clear in this area.

I second the LFO commentary...at close to the highest rates it seems to lose a little stability/clarity at the highest values. Just a saw wave LFO used here targeted at filter cut off with self resonance or fed a bit of "hiss" into the filter from a noise Wavetable.

Your attention and planned updates are appreciated Mr. Parawave !

Looks like I'm in the minority, but I find the GUI very pleasant, actually. Including the colors. I'd wish for a larger GUI option though.

Very nice synth, but quite some overlap with Avenger it seems (which I already have). Both synths are easy to use, which is important for a lazy person like me (who still likes to fiddle with sounds instead of just using presets). The 8 layers are overkill for me though.

I don't need it, but I'm still somewhat tempted.

Viruskiller are complete 100% useless. They alert the wrong files and don't now the new ones. The new ones became old and useless cause the vulnerable are fixed by updates of the software/os. So no one on this planet needs a virus killer.

Virus killer on the other side are often a big security hole for your system, so don't install those shitty crap soft.

Tooltips are working fine for me, using RAPID v1.0.2 (retail), Windows 7 SP1 64-bit, on both REAPER v5.29 x64 and Ableton Live 9 Lite v9.7.1 x64.

with the windows destop aero theme, rapid tooltips are working fine, with W classik theme, no tooltips.

everybody can write a program, that work as a spam bot or destroy data of harddrives, or catch banking data. I do not know, wy VST plugins need admin mode to install. I can copy to my VST directory (c:\program files\vstplugins) without go to admin. see also mouse utilities, or keyboard hotkey utility, or harddisk checking programs. there need no security hole need to do that. the security holes are only need for Virus to avoid detect from the virus scanner or avoid that user notice that PC go to admin mode. maybe you have luck and get no virus, if you only visit few sites, but if everybody use no virus scanner, the world is sure full of Virus because how should somebody know what a program really do.

Pitch Envelope is very important parameter when making EDM sounds, BiPolar Pitch Envelope (directry connected to oscilators by default) is very useful.
"Modulation matrix" is not "rapid"....

I bought rapid with one extention 2 days ago, and i must say : Whoa, that's a good synth, the sound is incredible.

the osc, the filters, the env, the content, the reverb, the master comp....the Quality is really here. Superb job Parawave Team.
the phaser is not so great, it's a big mistake for me.(with some filters and send, we can archive a great phaser, but it s not so rapid.)

i have some wish:
_ a Mseg with loop could be great, it s hard to draw with the sequence, not so fast,
_ in the balancer, an invert phase (you can do that with send but a simple switch is faster, and a Mid/side decoder could be usefull)
_ a link button for edit multiple layers in the same time
_ the Voice fx could be before/after the filter
_ a round robin cycle in the keying section( alternate layers per voice)
_ and the posibility to modulate the macro.

Still want to buy that expansion. Are you ever going to get rid of VAT/shipping charge for outside of Europe customers? This is ridiculous to make us pay VAT when there is no VAT.

Devs don't charge the VAT it's the EU, and there's nothing they can do about it (it's done automatically).
