I am looking for a player that allows you to set individual gain for each track onto a playlist.
So you can switch between songs and have different volume.
Not a DAW, please.
Any hints?
Thanks.

The solution for you is not in the player but in your mp3 collection. There used to be a tool called mp3gain that would even out levels of your whole collection. Mainly files that are too loud will be turned down.
This works without re-encoding, only the gain is adjusted. Can be done per file or on the whole collection. And it does work on each & every player since abilities of the standard mp3 file format are used.
So: try mp3gain.

It looks like the person is asking for exactly the opposite;

mp3 gain is not my way to go.
I have to rebounce the mp3s each time.
I just'd like to open an mp3 player, load 2 or more tracks and set their gain individually.
Why a so easy function has not yet been implemented anywhere?

I want to do it out of any DAW since this helps me to referesh my visual during the mix.
If I do it inside the DAW, I stuck with the stuff and get less focus.
