I don't get why this should be a reason to do that. I feel the exact opposite. Hurry up doing what you always dreamed to do. Try harder to fulfill your dreams and aspirations, becuase your clock is ticking. And try to spread the good around you, and touch as many lives as you can doing that.Numanoid wrote:Excatly!fluffy_little_something wrote:it is like a warning sign to me as well, saying: listen pal, you won't live forever, either, your days are numbered
So the conclusion is to live like a bon vivant, live for today, tomorrow may be too late

I don't know what you trying to say as i didn't start to speculate about his death reasons or sexual orientation AFTER the death was confirmed minutes ago. Furthermore I don't want to derail the thread even more, if you feel the need to answer pm me instead.Numanoid wrote:Did you post this upstream?mladi wrote:He just died.. it's to much asking to stop those undignified comments in a RIP thread? What's wrong with you guys?

My candle burns at both ends
It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends -
It gives a lovely light

Sad news, indeed
Did a cover version of this with my band, about 25 years ago. We got some stick for covering a Wham song, but it was easy to defend such a stonking pop tune

Let's remember the great stuff he made and not speculate too much about the reason for his death. I expect it will be published as far as they know more about it.
We all know he had some problems in the last time with his health (yes and he was gay).
For some of us he was an important part of the 80s, with Wham but also if he started later a solo career. Very talented artist over such a long time.
The last album I bought was "Patience".
I'm very sad about his dead

I was just watching a Marc Almond show, and these lines from Aznavour, seem so right, also in this regard:
I know my life is not a crime
I am just a victim of my time
I stand defenseless
Nobody has the right to be
the judge of what is right for me
Tell me if you can, what makes a man a man

I actually read he has died because of the consequences of crack addiction, he tried to get clean but without success, alas. That is what his family claims. I remember he nearly died for similar reasons years ago (pneumonia or smth, due to drug addiction I guess).
