I recently purchased Mainstage3 with its Alchemy synth and it is nice, but I would like to use the huge WAV library in SFZ sampler. What is great is the whole library is very cleanly named in the following pattern:
Code: Select all
./Alto Sax PM/Alto Sax PM C1.wav
./Alto Sax PM/Alto Sax PM C2.wav
./Alto Sax PM/Alto Sax PM C3.wav
./Alto Sax PM/Alto Sax PM C4.wav
./Alto Sax PM/Alto Sax PM C5.wav
./Alto Sax PM/Alto Sax PM C6.wav
./Alto Sax PM/Alto Sax PM F#1.wav
./Alto Sax PM/Alto Sax PM F#2.wav
./Alto Sax PM/Alto Sax PM F#3.wav
./Alto Sax PM/Alto Sax PM F#4.wav
./Alto Sax PM/Alto Sax PM F#5.wav
./Alto Sax PM/Alto Sax PM F#6.wav
./Flute Ensemble 1/Flute Ensemble C7.wav
./Flute Ensemble 1/Flute Ensemble G3.wav
./Flute Ensemble 1/Flute Ensemble G4.wav
./Flute Ensemble 1/Flute Ensemble G5.wav
./Flute Ensemble 1/Flute Ensemble G6.wav
./Flute Ensemble 2/Flute Ensemble C3.wav
./Flute Ensemble 2/Flute Ensemble C4.wav
./Flute Ensemble 2/Flute Ensemble C5.wav
./Flute Ensemble 2/Flute Ensemble C6.wavI also see EXS and AAZ files among waves, it looks like Alchemy can load EXS24 instruments and AAZ is some kind of binary patch format. I assume there is not a reader for such a format, so building SFZ from scratch is the only way for me I think.
Thanks.
