I didn't write that you are trolling, I wrote troll baiting, i.e. highly probable to attract and/or feed trolls because of the subject matter, and forum posted in, esp. considering that we know little to nothing atm except for that screenshot and that it's pre-alpha.EnochLight wrote:Huh?!! It's a thread meant to gauge interest and discuss. How could this possibly be meant as trolling??eXode wrote:No offence EnochLight, but seriously - what is the point of this thread, except possible (probable) troll baiting?
Reveal Sound themselves even refer to it as a "pre-alpha" which means that a lot of things can change on the way, so it's pretty meaningless to even speculate at this point.
Reveal Sound's Spire Rack Extension coming to Reason soon

Ah, gotcha. No worries. That said, it wasn't my intention to troll bait either, so hopefully it doesn't come off like that. This is just a thread meant to discuss the product since it was obviously made public by Reveal Sound. And I'll admit we know close to nothing as it's just in pre-alpha stage. Should be interesting to see how it comes along.eXode wrote:I didn't write that you are trolling, I wrote troll baiting, i.e. highly probable to attract and/or feed trolls because of the subject matter, and forum posted in, esp. considering that we know little to nothing atm except for that screenshot and that it's pre-alpha.

EnochLight, no worries. I didn't actually interpret it like that. My post was meant to be a little tongue in cheek, and a little satire, considering some of the posts following yours had little do to with the actual topic.EnochLight wrote:Ah, gotcha. No worries. I can name many things that sound far better than Sylenth1. The Legend, Thor, Antidote, Redominator and Tres. Sylenth1 is the most generic sounding EDM synth you can findchk071 wrote:
Can't help but sympathise with that a bit though, at least the stock devices are, IMO, far away from even being in the same league as Sylenth1, and i do think that Spire sounds quite a bit better than Sylenth1, so... lots to look forward to for Reasonland.![]()
Expanse looks like a nice synth though. I didn't demo it personally, but the sound examples sounded good. Wasn't too impressed with Antidote, the other much talked about RE synth, i must admit. Surely an okay synth, but it sounded a bit boring to me. Each to his like.
