Amplitube Custom Shop questions

I need some help. I demoed the Fender 2 collection, and overall I was very impressed, but when push came to shove I found myself only using the Custom Pro and Custom Deluxe amps & cabs. If I were to purchase both amps and cabs individually in the custom shop, it would cost me 90 gear credits, which isn't much savings vs buying the entire collection of 6 amps & cabs for 100! Seems a bit odd to me.
This leads me to some questions which I will number for clarity.
1. Does IK ever put individual amps and cabs on sale to make it worth purchasing individual parts of a package?
2. If I were to purchase only two amps & cabs from a package, does IK allow you to later "upgrade" to a full package at a discount, or is it an "all or nothing" approach?
3. Does IK allow you to resell full collections purchased through the custom shop?
Sorry for all the questions but this is important in helping me make a decision on Fender 2. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

For the last question, according to http://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/index.php?id=1111
Please note that not all software is transferable. Items received for free via a promotion are not transferable. Purchases made inside of the Custom Shop using Gear Credits are not transferable to another user or account.

Thanks for this info! Again kind of hurts the idea of using the custom shop for purchases.tappert wrote:For the last question, according to http://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/index.php?id=1111Please note that not all software is transferable. You can transfer Collections purchased with Gear Credits in the Custom Shop at this time. I'll have that FAQ reworded to indicate it is à la carte purchases made inside Custom Shop with Gear Credits that are not transferable.
For the other questions:
1. Sometimes, but new and especially official models will take a bit longer to go on sale.
2. There is no partial upgrade path / mechanism at this time.
3. Answered above.
Thanks!

Thank you Peter for answering! If possible, do you remember when the last custom shop sale happened and roughly what the discount was on amps & cabs from official collections like Fender 1 or Orange? I like the warm sound of these new Fender 2 amps, but again I only seemed to really click with two of the models, so now I'm unsure if I should just purchase the full pack now (as its only 10 more gear credits vs buying the two amps & cabs alone) or wait until a possible sale on individual amps happens sometime in the future.
THANKS!
THANKS!

Hi Peter,
Just a couple of questions as I see you around.
1. I have only Amplitude Metal package from IK (don't own Amplitube4). Is that a reason that many of the presets hat came with this collection are really off, with crazy clipping output signal an excessive bass?
2. Is there a way not to see the full prest listin the vst interface , but only the ones I own?
Thanks
