Hope your dreams and ambitions become fulfilled in the coming years. I will miss your electronic musings, not many can do it like you, and it's a hard genre to tackle indeed.

Also, it was great to be allowed to use the plugins that I spent money on.
I tried to use them as gently as possible (only used Gentle Saturation style in Saturn).
The heavier distortion on some sounds comes from the synth's built-in effects.

I don't have any commercial plugins but do have CM Magazine ones and used some of them.
All sounds from scratch. Even had time to make a cover image in GIMP.

I am pushing hard with this one....

But running into an intresting bug.. at 25 instances every Synth one instance runs fine but on adding the 26th instance it sounds like my souncard switches off with loud click if I try to play the last instance of Synth1. My DAW audio sonar 8.5 pro engine is running with no fx so no dropouts there and my cpu an old Duel core 3ghz with 4gb ram is just idling at 4% cpu. Its strange really considering that I have run 30 instances of Synthmaster before with no hassle....

I hope I can finish on time though....

Hi all,

When I listened to a lot of the available presets for Synth1, I often was surprised about how close some sounds are to the acosutic original. So I wanted to use this synth to emulate a band as close as possible. I used many of those presets as starting point for my patches with more or less modification. I think since I took part in OSC I spend the most time this month for sound design. But this synth is so incredible versatile and powerfull, I allways wonder that it is freeware and one of the older ones.
Again: you did an amazing job Mrs. Toda

I used some commercial plugins (see list below). But I think it does not change my sound or workflow very much. I never feel restricted by using only freeware. It was nice to use them, but I like the old rule!
