This is weird as I remember it was working in one of the previous version. I simply drag a knob (any of them) and click on Action -> N/A and get an empty list. Not matter which knob I use I get nothing in the action list.rigidaudio wrote:Thanks for letting me know. Can you reproduce the bug? The list is only empty if you select a knob? I will investigate.SampleScience wrote:When I select a knob, the action list is empty in the latest version (0.97). Any idea why?

Just tried dragging an "naked" knob to the edit area, clicked on the action field and the list with folders and files pops up.

Nevermind, it was my fault from the beginning! I forgot to install the new files in the AppData folder. I was using the files from previous version with the latest 0.97 version!rigidaudio wrote:This is indeed weird.SampleScience wrote:This is weird as I remember it was working in one of the previous version. Now I'm off having good time with this beautiful software!!!

Is the preorder price still in effect?
I'm sure someone has already asked, but is there a demo available? I have no idea if I'll be able to wrap my head around this. A quick test to see how intuitive or get a grip on the learning curve would be great

Got a bit deeper in the program. I made my first GUI with it, imported my own artwork and it's a real time saver! Well worth the 50$ it costed me! In fact, I think it should sell for a bit more than the asked 99$, but we'll see how it goes. Hopefully it will be a success because the program is really useful and it really does speed up the process of designing a GUI for Kontakt.
Bravo!!

I just purchased the product, but my download link was for beta v0.97. How do I get the v0.98 release?

Having my first 'play' with the GUI maker today.
So far, a few things/suggestions have come to mind. They probably have already been mentioned (I'm sorry, I haven't read through all this forum's pages yet), so .... if nothing else, I may be echoing other people's comments.
1- When I give any of the controllers a name or a text, it doesn't appear on screen. If I give it a name, I'd like to see that on screen. (Or am I doing something wrong?)
2- I'd like to be able to add a text field (because I might want to add some text, other than controller names).
3- That list of controllers... could that have a scroll bar (so I don't have to use the scrollbutton on the mouse)? Or even... could it have expandable/collapsable groups?
The search function in the controller area is a bit weird. After searching for something, and then trying to reset it, I wasn't seeing all controllers. A lot of the area was blank. I had to close and re-start the program for it to be normal again.
Also, in the main area (so to speak): when I press space, it brings up the function menu. If I press space again (and maybe a few times, and click cancel on the function menu) the program will show a fatal error. Clearly I'm doing something that I shouldn't be doing, but I wouldn't expect the program to crash.
Really loving it so far though. The video is clearly a little dated by now. There are some really nice, modern looking buttons available now. Reasonably easy to use. Not super-duper easy, I still have some learning to do, but it's okay so far.
I'm using v.0.98 on Windows 10, i5, 16GB RAM, SSD.

This is a feature I want too, I thought I could ad a label and write something in it but it doesn't seems to be the case. It would be a very useful feature to temporally label the knobs to know what they do before building the final GUI.Synchrotones wrote:2- I'd like to be able to add a text field (because I might want to add some text, other than controller names).

1) Currently you will need to do that via your own PNG labels or via the background. However, some kind of controller labeling system is planned. (Where it just displays the control´s name). That would "bake" the name into the PNG file.
2) Textfields will be supported in version 1.0.
3) Scrollbars will be available for the library and for the action script box in v1.0.
Concerning the library-search: That search bug will be fixed in v1.0. (Sometimes not displaying all the items after closing the search).
The space bar bug has been fixed - thanks for that!

Is there a 0.99 version available? I'm using it but I'm not sure I'm using it properly or if there's still some bugs. A manual would really help me speed up the process too.
