The sound is great and the potential is clear, but it was launched with the promise of "many more" authorized emulations of eurorack hardware modules being made available to buy - but there's been nothing since the intellijel stuff at launch, and it's over 6 months now.
Kind of disappointed too, forget about no internal browser, but I've kind have come to expect these things. No surprise to me.

Maybe we'll have something in 2017 but I won't hold my breath.

I am blown away by the Synclavier V. If you already have it-- look for the timbre share FaceBook page, that Cameron Jones created. Join the group, and download the myriad of .synx files that folks are sharing. These are not presets.. but building blocks for the Synclavier V. While it hasn't been upgraded in years - u-he Zebra is always in my top 3... So my picks for 2016 are:

1. Roland JD-XA
2. Arturia Synclavier V
3. U-He Zebra

Crap :borg: ... jdoo, ...couldn't resist anymore...you made me take the step to upgrade to V Collection 5... :hihi:

I couldn't care less about it's quirks as the sound is just gorgeous and it suits my music style perfectly, best vst-i ever imo and I just love it

One thing to consider is you don't just whip out 100% emulations of real analogue components out of your sleeve so I'd reckon giving them a bit of slack as I'm sure they will be bringing out more excellent modules in the future.

P.s. They are working on bringing the cpu usage down as well as gui changes, and if I remember correctly patch management.

LOL Frank. Careful with the Synclavier! It is addicting. :hihi: Definitely check out the Timbre Share site, that Cameron setup. Incredible how many great sounding timbres are being shared.
