What's up with the "versatility" thing?
I never see these kinds of comments when it's about an effects plugin... "Great reverb, too bad that it doesn't also contain a phaser, flanger, distortion, etc. That would make it a lot more versatile!" :dog:
Want to use a really versatile plugin, use/buy another one then.
It's probably an internet thing - if you can't complain about it not being a perfect emulation, complain that it's not like another synth.

Actually if getting back to the topic wich asks for Cos and Pros...both are emulations of actual hardware synthesizers so:

The Legend

Cos:
- Polyphonic, unisono, release knobs
Cons:
- None

RePro 1
Cos:
- Wavefolder and other FX and all else that was added that not ment to be in Original hw version
Cons:
- none

Seriously there are no Cons, because the emulations are working as they should, not buggy, good UI, sounds amazing ect :)

??? This is a comparison thread. So people are just writing down what they like/don't like about it.

Of course, and I don't like that it doesn't have 8 operators, partial editing, sample loading, wavetables, granulator oscillator or extended modularity. :hihi:

I don't like that neither can cook my dinner when my wife's away.

Have you tried asking Urs if he's interested in turning your wife into a plugin.

If you can't cook your own dinner, perhaps your next project should not be a prog-rock tribute album

Voted The Legend, just because in a hardware equivalent poll i would choose the Minimoog.
Polyphony is irrelevant, i can make the Repro-1 polyphonic easily enough.

Ay caramba !

Polyphony is irrelevant. So no need for polyphony in soft synths then, totally pointless! Waste of CPU cycles.

You're right! All soft synths should be the same! Differences are totally pointless!
