Similar plugin bundles to Soundtoys 5?

Aloysius was actually right. I bought it, there's actually nothing like it. I mean you can get other bundles, (which I have millions of) but I was really impressed about the fact that nothing I have does anything quite like the Soundtoys bundle. It's it's own thing in a sea of plugins. Money well spent.

Eh I bought Uhbik on the introductory offer when it came out, with the promise of many update and more plugins to come.. I think they added 1 or 2 but never did anything else with it or added the modular host for them that they had envisioned and described when they first released them.. They're okay plugins, but a bit dated now, u-he has much better DSP now that they could put into them but they don't bother, it's kind of too bad, I really like their plugins but I sold Uhbik, still have Bazille and ACE though...

You won't regret it.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

i have various different bundles, also tried some, you might find alternatives in the quantity, but not in such high Quality + easy to use UI. I havent seen any such good sounding plugin to Radiator, Decapitator, crystalizer. I honestly say that its not worth looking for alternatives, rather for complimentary bundles, because soundtoys bundle is just that great.

Same experience for me.Elektronisch wrote:i have various different bundles, also tried some, you might find alternatives in the quantity, but not in such high Quality + easy to use UI. I was skeptical first but now I'm convinced by Soundtoys quality and sheer mass of possibilities.

despite the mocking, I'd vote for this too - especially combined with MXXXcore.mcbpete wrote:Melda's Creative Bundle? https://www.meldaproduction.com/MCreativeBundle
That combination gives a decent enough selection of presets, and a crazy-powerful framework to build complex effect chains relatively easily once you get into the Melda mindset.
I was going to go the soundtoys route before spending time to properly understand what melda were offering ,and in the end it was pretty easy for me to go down the melda path. The more I dig into it, the more impressed I am.
Heck, even MXXXcore on its own without the creative bundle is stupidly powerful thanks to multiband, macros, modulation (LFO/envelope follower/envelope/step sequencer etc), and feedback.
It doesn't take long to realise that combining the included "delay tap" module with feedback and the other modules (eg filter with its massive selection of filter types) lets you create all manner of multi-tap delays and other delay based effects like choruses.
Then there's the ability to build full midi mono-synths using as many instances of "oscillator" (each with analog-style/additive oscillators like mPowersynth) and "filter" modules as you want .
All massively modulatable.
Add in the creative bundles modules and it just gets silly how powerful this is for the money - especially if you get it during a 50% off offer.

"Crystallizer is basically Soundtoys take on Eventide H910"
I would check that - I thought Crystallizer was Soundtoys take on Crystal Echoes which was on the later generation H3000 (which some of the Soundtoys people had worked on while with Eventide). I don't think the H910 or H494 can do the reversed echoes that are part of that sound. I'm not sure it's on the H3000 Factory plugin either - not sure I've only had it for a short time but I can't see it in the preset list. That's actually a bit odd because there is a Crystals algo for the H9 pedal so Eventide obviously realise people like it. Maybe because Soundtoys got there first with a plugin there is no point in trying to compete.

I can appreciate that at face value, but the once the "melda method" snaps into place in your mind, all of a sudden it's really easy to create whatever you want as the same methodology flows through all their plugins.Andrey Marchenko wrote:Melda != UI/UX
Map that to a framework like MXXX and it's makes things possible that previously would have required significantly more time invested to learn the likes of Max or Reaktor.

There are reversed delays in H949. From Eventide website:ChamomileShark wrote:"Crystallizer is basically Soundtoys take on Eventide H910"

H949
Multi-effects Harmonizer with deglitching and longer, randomized, and reversed delays.
Micropitch mode for small pitch intervals, reverse pitch shift, with delay and repeat modes.
Combination digital delay, pitch changer, and all around special effects unit.
Original hardware popularized by Jimmy Page and the only piece of digital gear to grace his rig.

SoundToys themselves state that its based on an H3000 algorithm.Pingafuego wrote:There are reversed delays in H949.ChamomileShark wrote:"Crystallizer is basically Soundtoys take on Eventide H910"

Crystallizer is an otherworldly creative effect that transforms instruments using a combination of pitch shifting and reversed echo. Based on the Eventide H3000’s innovative “Reverse Shift” algorithm, Crystallizer brings granular echo slicing, old-school pitch shifting and powerful new features together into one inspiring tool.

Man, i find this suggestion out of proportion, because that plugin alone costs 349, wheres Soundtoys 5 whole bundle with a good number of plugins on sale can be had for 299.ChamomileShark wrote:"Crystallizer is basically Soundtoys take on Eventide H910"

I also was skeptical. My story first goes about echoboy, my collegue suggested echoboy, i thought its just another delay, i was satisfied with the simple DAW included delay, but oh i was so wrong! After buying the echoboy i decided to check other plugins and i can say i was wowed. There is really something special about them and the quality.martinjuenke wrote:Same experience for me.Elektronisch wrote:i have various different bundles, also tried some, you might find alternatives in the quantity, but not in such high Quality + easy to use UI.
