:?: Ok, I give up. How do I import the key file to register Avenger?

Do I have to replace the demo version with a new install, or can I just register the demo?

EDIT: nvm, installed full version.

Ran into a problem.

I did a fresh install of windows 7 on a new hard drive. I installed ableton 9. then i installed avenger. When I try to load avenger into ableton it crashes.

I tried loading avenger into FL studio 11, same thing. I tried loading it into bitwig, same thing.

I did the install with only the VST2 version. And then I tried with all version installed. Neither worked.

Formatted the hard drive and reinstalled windows 7. Got the same issue.

Also; I am dual booting Windows 7. Avenger works on the first Windows 7 I installed, but not on the newer one I installed today... It is the exact same version of Windows 7.

I'm confused.

Any solutions?

Had to install video drivers; Everything works now. Thanks

As announced, first half of February (maybe around the 10th or a little later), can't predict the exact date yet, though.

It's fascinating to think what the reaction would have been to Avenger had the kind of sounds you are making, Simon, been front and centre before the launch. I can only presume that Vengeance has such a track record and core customer base of EDM, that it never really entered the developer's heads to do any more than token toe-stepping outside its rigid confines (and when they did, it wasn't as impressive as the EDM stuff). As I've said before, if the predominance of the presets weren't obvious enough, the lack of tagging choices outside EDM really nails their colours to the mast. Out of interest Simon, how do you tag this stuff, genre-wise?

But this is exactly what I hoped for. Conceptually it seemed such a good synth, I was banking on the third parties to step up to address this huge imbalance. Everything I hear from you, Simon, sounds excellent.

Thank you for the good feedback - another motivating read. I haven't bothered yet with the tagging in Avenger, and from my experience in the past with existing tagging systems (especially in HALion/Alchemy) I always struggled to tag my sounds with the available tags of a given system (and I personally thing genre tags are rather obsolete because tying a sound to a genre makes no sense to me and I don't think/feel in genres at all), tags like cinematic soundscape/ambient/drone/textural/new-age/minimal/experimental/abstract/world fusion/fusion/electro/space would come to my mind though - to be expanded.

Yes, take a look at what is there - it's slim pickings. From your list, the only three tags would be film/game music; Ambient/Chillout and World/Folk. I had to add Electronica in the text description for my microbank.

Well, did you ever happen to visit the Vengeance-Sound website? They do have a couple of move/soundtrack products too, but, most is EDM though.

Sampleconstruct wrote:Strong FR: Today I programmed a sound with several velocity layers and it was rather painful, as there is no batch edit option for editing several oscillators at once, so all modulation assignments have to be made for each velocity layer (oscillator) again and again and again and again, this took hours... - so please think about giving us an option to batch edit things - thank you.

EDIT: it was this patch I was editing today:

+1

Something like, Copy OSC with Modulation options, its really PITA making same modulation for every OSC which is added when making patch..
