Let me know what you's think and especially on the style of sounds I have used...mostly i was using ultran and extra drum sets i've downloaded. It's going to be sent to a guy I know who runs a deep house label called Flygarictracks based up here in scotland as well, so wish me luck...I never know he might want to press it...!

This is really only valid for Orion users but I've botched up a jazzy deep tune using Orion and would be interested to hear if anyone else is using it for similar styles of music. You can find the tune at http://www.soundclick.com/bands/0/afterglowuk2music.htm

hmm..well what is the point, dude?Enarje wrote:Maybe, but thats not really the point dude.
Krim & I are both loyal O. Plat users, as are many ppl here..it doesn't matter what kind of music it is, you get yourself on a certain level of familiarity & you can make whatever music you want on whatever host you want.
Assuming you first know how to make that kind of music to begin with..
Is this gonna sound better than something done in Traktion or Cubase cause it's in Orion? Truly?

sounds good to me. maybe i should dig a bit...i never use any of the orion instruments except the 4 channel drum sampler. i don't know why, because you're getting good sounds here. maybe i should try a few 'orion-only' tunes and see what i come up with.
maybe you don't want to be, but you've been an inspiration today

i'd rather have a mullet than a comb-over.
fortunately, i have neither.

Totally, I know your trying to be helpful as well, but thats kind of a double edged sword that statement see. As was my post I admit. It's not just about getting exposure for your tracks. It's good to give help out to developers like synapse who quite frankly I see struggle to compete with the likes of cubase/reason & logic. After all we've all got to earn from somewhere and I'm happy to help out synapse and while I'm at it myself and friends.

"new SX2 track"
it wouldnt really have the same clout as
"new kick ass funky track"
or maybe it would ?

uh-huh..
You can have it both ways, ya know..
'Kick ass Jazz track here' as the thread title
'Made in Orion Platinum 5.5' as a detail in your description.
Edit your original post title & see how many more hits you get. If you wanna maximize exposure to Orion, do it in a way that gets as many ppl looking as possible

not to sounds shitty
but I would think more about who is hosting your tracks than what host you are using.
hifi crashes my WMP.
