Hello all.
When I get sample packs, I almost always look for REX2 or Apple loops formats and then I create kits in Battery 4 with them for easy triggering. Very convenient, and easy playback.

Unfortunately, I can't get .wav files to behave in Battery (for some reason they don't stop playing when I release the key), but REX2 and .aiff works fine.

Unless someone can tell me how to get .wav files to behave in Battery, I figure the next best thing is to get a .wav to .aiff converter. I managed to find a free one online, but it only converts one sample at a time. Is there such a thing that does batch conversions? Free is, of course, preferable, but I don't mind coughing up some cash for a solution that works.

Reaper's batch converter should allow you to do this, too.

Windows or Mac?
foobar2000 is a bit this Swiss army knife on Windows and not only as a audio player but also to convert different formats. You can convert complete folders, disks or only selected files you dragged to playlist from and to different formats.

It's within Reaper, File -> Batch file/item converter (Ctrl+Shift+F)

Most audio editors should do this. Or, as 4damind mentioned, foobar2000.

.wav to .aiff batch converter? Where to find this?
