preserve sample length?

does someone know if there exists a software sampler that can play a sample at different pitches and still preserve it's speed?
i'm pretty new to software sampling..

Isn't Sampletank 2 supposed to be able to do this?

I know a wave editor called 'goldwave' can do that but you would have to edit your samples outside of your host and then import them.
