Lyric Tracks, like in logic or the cube.

Midi controller support (has been said a thousand times but its important) which is fast and easy to configure.

Make rack inputs or outputs selectable to include other tracks.

I wish it would make selecting patches a bit more intuitive like the rest of it. It's annoying how often I can be playing with a synth using a certain patch but when I freeze it or record it suddenly it has a different sound.

Now you're in deep shit

1. Audio time streching algorithm that doesn't mangle the audio as bad as version 1.x

2. Song section repeat construct. Allow T to repeat sections of songs without re-copying the data. Basically turn the sequencer into a non-linear time line sequencer, but a section playlist device. You could have both - create sequences using the current construct, then allow for a section playback list to chain sections together.

3. Pre-shipped racks for common uses like aux effect busses and so forth. Not necessarily a mixer per se, but the good elements of a mixer, in T fashion. Call them Rack Templates or something.

4. Notation view on MIDI. It's always easier for me to understand which notes are fat-fingered by looking for the pile-up of notes in a notation view. I like piano roll also, but old-school notation view is good sometimes also.

A simple list of song jumps and loops. See post:

Good midi! Should look like Reason's midi with the option for a piano roll and a drum editor similar looking to DR. Rex's midi editor.

Also a super freeze feature to free up more cpu than the current freeze. This has been discussed in other threads. And please, stable.....very very stable.

Midi drum editor, looped audio recording, maybe a chopper like in acid.

Definately would like a Staff view.

Also free upgrade for registered users :) :)

Post

1. Ability to extract groove templates from midi clips/files

2. ability to apply destructive quantise on a selected clip (without having to select the notes within the clip first).

3. transient based auto slicing of audio clips

4. ability to quantise start positions of audio clips (including groove quantise).

5. better time stretch algos.

6. ability to specify 'default' micro fade in/out ramps when chopping audio clips.. or a 'slice on zero crossing' option.. so that we can stop worrying about clicks.

7. (edit: thanks spacefox :) )

8. user definable keys for tracktion commands.. (rather than the current arrangement which is definable tracktion commands for keys).

9. fixing of the bug that causes tracks to complain that they aren't attached to and output device (like a synth) when they actually are.

macros would be nice too...

7. its often hard to drag the song pointer without selecting something by accident eg. if you've zoomed in so that the hole sequencer view is filled with clips. It would be great if there was a key you could hold to prevent selction of clips for when yuo want to easily position the song pointer.
Perhaps not exactly what you mean, but you can shift (or alt) click the timeline to position the pointer (just in case you didn't know).

Oh, and if its possible, the ability to record from more than one asio device would be awsome.

Post

1) export all tracks as wav
2) loop recording
