PLay with a flat hand. Resist the urge to arch your fingers or you will constantly play sharp on these things.

Also you will want to learn to fingerpluck softer than your normal electric bass

I had one of those things for about 3 years. Never liked it, but I got damn good on it during college, used it for a recital once... was kinda fun but I never liked the feel of it.

and sickle - you bet, it's tiny and the guy I bought it off threw in a case for it

I'm not a bassplayer, and I'm still a rookie on guitar, but I really liked the idea of a massive wall of bass with the fretless action - so far it sounds incredible dry, I cant wait to try it out through some effects

and I will have to go out and get some powder... it is a bit sticky

once I know exactly when I'm coming down, we'll have to try and do a "KVR Southlands" event of some sort (if sickle wants to try and host something or at least recommend a bar for a meetup)

I know I'll be in the mood for some serious chaos

and the Wretch Stick will be coming too....

If we have a meet, I'd recommend heading over to Bluedad's city, & get together at the Blue Monkey or some place like that..damn I haven't been to B-ham in months, every since I was released from drug court
