Hi,

is there a VST Midi-PlugIn where you can adjust the minimum length of the note? I've seen the "lengther" PlugIn, mentioned in this forum, but the problem is: I cannot save the adjustments in this plugIn.

Could you describe your situation. What basic setup is/what you are trying to do. I only say that because there may be people out here who have found ways of doing things differently that has added benefits. DAWs have different ways to do a minimum length, but your situation determines what is best. Are you drawing in midi, or using it as a filter to input?

Hi, I'm playing Xylosynth (Midicontroller with mallets). So the MIDI-pulses are very short. I can adjust the pulse-length at the Xylosynth, but for every vst-Instrument, I need another note (pulse-) length. So I would like to do it with a MIDI-Plug-In in my "Minihost Modular" before I go in my VST-Instrument.

Setup is: Xylosynth as MIDI-Controller --> MBox3 --> "Minihost Modular" --> "note length adjuster" (I'm looking for) -->VST-Instrument --> Audio Out MBOX3.

K, sounds good..I found a few midi tools a while back..I think I have something that may help..I'll look into it today. I'll also check out the transformer operators in Cubase Elements while I'm at it..It's what I use and is affordable also. Be back later on

You should be able to use a trance gate to cut or extend notes any how you want. just leave on step 1, set the timing to say 1/32 or 1/64 and leave off the other steps. Have it retrigger to start at every note hit. As long as it can do these things it will work and give you way more possibilities along with that. I found one that says it's 64 bit for use in Minihost modular. I'll test it out tonight if I have time. http://bedroomproducersblog.com/2015/06 ... e-a1audio/

^ as long as this one triggers on note input, it looks from the GUI like it will do..don't see that setting though..will have to test.

^reading over again, this may only do audio input to file. I do know that I have one that will do it, by Tek'it audio, but it's only 32 bit as far as I know. This has the features you need though: https://www.kvraudio.com/product/gattr-by-tekit Just need to find something similar in 64-bit. It has a retrigger if I remember right.

I'll PM you if I find one..I'm looking as I'm writing stuff..taking breaks by looking for something for you..getting tired for today though, I've tried quit a bit. Most of what will definitely work are built into synths, but I haven't given up. It would be nice for me to have also.

Problem solved:

There are 2 free Plugins: "Chordit" and "Chordz" (both from Codefn42.com), you can trigger chords by only 1 note and you can adjust an "after delay" for single tones in these chords. Adjust the plugin to trigger only 1 note per 1 note (c-c, c#-c#,...), instead of triggering a whole chord. You can then adjust the delay of the 1st note of the chord (cause we have only 1 note in our "chords"). That's it.

Chordit works also in 64bit, but "Chordz" is better for fast impulses.

I have those as well...also, I was thinking that looking at arpeggiators is going to yield more choices since the usually include a reset pattern on note function. Thus, just set the pattern to single hit and set the length,,but I'm having a day off from everything today, so I'll look into it myself soon.
