Pattern Sequencer Doesn't Work Right

I notice pattern sequencer won't work unless you are holding down the same input key from the last step of pattern 1 into the first step of pattern 2.

I have a new note coming in at the beginning of where I want pattern 2 to start, and it just repeats pattern 1!

I also should note that I have NO gap at all between notes. I can understand if there was a gap, but there is no gap.

Pattern Sequencer only works if you are holding the same note. I feel this should change

I don't agree. This is a way to re-start the sequence with pattern 1.

hmmm... then how do I get the Pattern Sequencer to move to pattern #2 if at the same time I am also changing the input key?
