Sytrus

Ok, seems to be stable enough... and I like it. I own Sytrus since a long time but it was for me always a bit complicated to use. Not only FM, also the GUI.
Harmor was not changed so much but it looks all a bit more clean, no fuzzy fonts also with different scaling.

There is a bug with the pitchbend, so the plugins are detuned if loaded. Somebody has the same behavior?

Post

Yes, it's been reported and will be fixed.

Am I the only person that prefers the old Sytrus gui?

The new gui lacks the clear distinction of individual elements through colors. It's nice that it's resizable now, but it looks bland, colorless and flat.

+1. Nice to not have a microscopic Sytrus, but I do like the old GUI better.

It's a LOT better than the old fiddly GUI. Contrast is not that bad at least IMHO. Always can be improved, of course, but I don't see a need for a rainbow of colors here. :)

You're not the only one (see the IL forum for instance), but i think it is way better

I just really hate the Sytrus logo.

Can I be lame? If you own FL studio and this is included, can I do the vst, or how does that work?
I think you can't use the Sytrus VST version, owning FL Studio only lets you use the included synths and effects inside FL.
I think you are right, but I haven't tried the FL studio vst yet.

+2 Old gui style with the latest gui perks, would kill.

Actually, now that I've had some time with the new GUI, I'm getting used to it. Maybe even like it :-)

I'm hoping the remaining IL VSTs get the vectorized upgrade soon.

Has the VST version for Windows been updated yet? Old GUI was so small I had to pass on it.

Post

It's in beta.
