Acoustica Premium Edition - VSTs included?

In the product description is written "the Premium Edition which supports 5.1 and 7.1 channel surround and includes extended processing tools and the same audio restoration algorithms as found in our Restoration Suite." - to be sure that I understand it correctly I better ask: does this imply that they could also be installed as VSTs in a host program?

Hi!
Best,
Stian
Thanks for the interest! No, the reason why we write "processing tools" is that the plug-ins aren't included. Please also beware, that Acoustica Premium Edition 6 currently has an older version or Restoration Suite. Needless to say, the upcoming version 7 will have the most recent version of the tools included.magickz wrote:In the product description is written "the Premium Edition which supports 5.1 and 7.1 channel surround and includes extended processing tools and the same audio restoration algorithms as found in our Restoration Suite." - to be sure that I understand it correctly I better ask: does this imply that they could also be installed as VSTs in a host program?

Hi Stian, thanks for clarification.
My new years resolution is to learn more about mixing and mastering. And I thought probably Acoustica could be interesting for these tasks - with some extras that allow me to do more than just mastering. But, it is still not decided which kind of tool(s) is the right one for me, which features I'll need and whether it is better to have one that works in my DAW (plugin) or a standalone program. I'll learn a little bit more of the basics and wait for the new version to see what it can do.
Good luck for the presentation at NAMM.
Best regards. Martin
