Lovely Tim. Just perfect after a very hot day....
Got some great subtle effects happening...
Those pads are sublime.
The bass at about 5:00 is fabulous...
Top track.
Well done!

This works very well...I love slow builds.
Opening ambient pads were starting to sound just a bit flat, (quite distant with all that reverb)...and then the faster moving more obviously melodic elements entered....just at the right moment..perfect...much more up front in that sound stage to add depth to it all.
Damn sight better then anything JMJ produced on his recent Oxygene 3 effort! :0)

Good to see you back here again, Geoff. I hope you had a great Christmas and New Year break, although it already feels like a lifetime ago after a heavy week at work. Thanks very much for listening and commenting, mate. Glad you enjoyed ittehlord wrote:It does actually sound very festive, and you're still nailing the evolving synth goodness. I'm glad to see one of us is still making music on a regular basis!
Post-festive could be the next big genre thingy

I agree with the comments about the "tidy" glitches. Very satisfyingly clean. This piece would do very well accompanying some kind of video, maybe a silent documentary sequence.

Glad you enjoyed it, and glad it had the intended effectTrekStar wrote:Before I have to leave for my late- and nightshift, I feel very relaxed through your tune.Very tasteful pads, the subtle stuttereffects make the bell sound very interesting, very good construction and buildup of the piece.

i like the mellow feeling in the beginning.
But i did feel a bit drowzy after a while and wanting for sleep. but that's prob what you aimed for

You set a real nice mood with this piece. I really dug all the little subtle touches like the little stutters and squeaks in the background. The pads are sweet. Nice one!

That's probably a direct consequence of the Missus' favourite phrase:-justin3am wrote:Your 'glitches' are always so tidy.![]()

I think it's one of the BT Stutter Edit presets, using the note-off to rein in the chaos before it gets me into trouble.
Thanks very much for the great comments and undeserved namechecks, justin. Glad you enjoyed itjustin3am wrote: I enjoyed it, kinda reminds me of BT or Amon Tobin in places. Sleek and futuristic.

My English teacher warned me off mixing metaphors. Taking him literally, I assumed that his proscription excluded reverbsChamMusic wrote:This works very well...I love slow builds.

I haven't actually listened to this, but in my experience, these belated "sequel" albums often fail to rekindle earlier sparks. In any case, I'm sure the comparison is undeserved.ChamMusic wrote: Damn sight better then anything JMJ produced on his recent Oxygene 3 effort! :0)
