- SampleTank2. They aren't strings in the intro though, just some cheap and nasty synth pads from ST2, but you've given me an idea to remix this with strings there, thanks! Yes, you *are* nitpicking about the timpani. Many thanks for the kind words tho.

Just had to say that the IXOX tune this month is simply amazing. I'm convinced that this is really an old 78 record of street performers in East Europe. I even hear the scraches and noise in the background.

I am just in awe!

This is both beautiful sounding and fascinating rhythmically and melodically holds my interest. Yum!

FYI My entry (as all others)was ID3 tagged but somehow the tag is getting stripped when I upload it to my server??? This could be happeining to others as well...

- and I don't know how to fix it.

I've seen this a few times myself. What software are you using to see whether the tag got lost?

Hey Mo!

The ID3 tag shows up on the original when played in Winamp or Windows Media Player, but once uploaded it's no longer there???

I tag my the files using SX when exporting the audio mixdown, but I've also tried editing the tags using Winamp to see if that would make a difference. - it didn't

Thought everyone could use a dose of the Funk. And Funk goes best with a healthy dose of nasty dubble entendre. "Knock me up" I'm told can mean "pay a visit to" in the UK (as in "knock upon the door of me"), although in the states it pretty much just means to impregnate someone. All songs in the 1970s ended with a fade out.

All instruments: Ravity(s)
('cept for Drums which are SonicSynth 1 with a bit o' SuperCamelPhat applied).

Effects are Voxengo Voxformer & Lexicon Pantheon wid a lil' Ozone on the mix.

Ixox's entry, too (although i find the scratches a bit annoying).

however, there was something i couldn't get my hand on about this entry, something weird... and finally tonight i've found what's the disturbing part for me.

the whole track is made as to simulate an old recording. right? but if it was such an old recording, it couldn't have been made in...

You made my day too. I spent much of last night and today listening to your song. It's a catchy tune.

The other tune I can't get out of my head is the whistling song in Kill Bill Volume I, as whistled by Daryl Hannah, and written by Bernard Hermann (and originally performed in the movie Psycho).

Your music reminds me of some of my favorite movie composers, such as Bernard Hermann and Danny Elfman.
