We are working on a new version which will include the Tape Echo section along with all the features of Outer Verb. It's a new plugin (name pending...wanna help?) and it will be a FREE update for Outer Verb owners. So, you can go ahead and buy Outer Verb now, consider it as a pre-order for the new plugin.
The full price is going to be higher (so, hurry up!).
Development could take 1 to 2 months.
Please note that Outer Verb will be discontinued after the release of the new plugin.
Thank you for your feedback and suggestions. Keep 'em coming
Awesome. Can't wait. Thank you! Hope you will also have the various combinations settings the hardware unit had.

Thanks guys!
Intro price extended to Feb 7th.
And yes, we'll try to model all the features of the real unit (and maybe more
), including the different modes/combinations. We'll post more details and maybe some examples in the following days.

Had a chance to try this last night. It's got a darker tone than the PSP SpringBox (which I hardly ever find use for), which I think is more to my taste. I think I might like longer tails than the long setting, though that could change when the delay is added to the mix. As it is, I enjoyed how it made sampled e.pianos sound authentic. Crank that input and psyche out. Used it in combination with tape delays in an attempt to figure how the final product will sound. If it's half as good as my DIY chain, I'm in

Ok, not only is that an awesome offer, but it's enough for me to buy Outer Verb. As a reverb unit, it was just outside my comfort zone of affordability, but for the full Space Echo experience, it's a bargain.audiothing wrote:We are working on a new version which will include the Tape Echo section along with all the features of Outer Verb. Sweet! Look forward. As for a name, I think Outer Space, so that it draws off both the unit it models and the old plugin name.audiothing wrote:We heard you!

So basically, another Roland Space Echo clone, and you did not even THINK of the name "Outer Space" (or "Outta Space")? All right... (if you take that name, free copy? EDIT: apparently, too obvious, too late)audiothing wrote:We are working on a new version which will include the Tape Echo section along with all the features of Outer Verb. The only question I have in this case, if we get access to the following:audiothing wrote:So, you can go ahead and buy Outer Verb now, consider it as a pre-order for the new plugin.

Development could take 1 to 2 months.
- one "global speed knob" (completely with speed up/down effects)
- a "double/half speed" mode to extend the bpm "usage frame" unless you think half time/double time
- slightly different tape head positions (because no Roland was the same, which in turn resulted in different delay "tabs")
- different tapes
- proper mono support (for using that thing with guitar amps)
I don't know how "accurate" you want to shoot for though.
If it's native x64, ultra low CPU and does sound just as good as a couple of Roland RE-201 clones I already have at my disposal (and use)... then we're talking.
Will the MSRP of 39EUR remain, or does that go up AFTER the "Tape" add-on?

You did not read the thread or? You quoted your own answer. However which are couple of Roland RE-201 clones do you use?Compyfox wrote: [...] If it's native x64, ultra low CPU and does sound just as good as a couple of Roland RE-201 clones I already have at my disposal (and use)... then we're talking.
