LogicPro MIDI not flattening?

I seem to be having various problems flattening MIDI regions in the latest LogicPro patch. Ultimately, random MIDI take folders refuse to flatten into one flat region.
Are any of the Logic users here seeing anything like this? Or do I have a ghost in my machine..

Ok, thanks for all the pointers guys!
I think I have determined what's changed. One used to be able to flatten a MIDI region just by selecting the appropriate take from the little box on the collapsed region and flatten it straight away - it seems the required activity now is to expand the MIDI take folder, click on the take and then collapse and flatten, or just flatten. Once any take folder has been selected and the MIDI region collapsed, any of the takes can be selected and flatten from there.
SORRY IT'S VERY, VERY BORING but I needed to make a note of it and on the kayveeaar seemed to make sense.
