Same. I was so close to buying Propane Stereo Width by SoundSpot for $2.50 from PluginBoutique for absolutely no good reason... I tried to tell myself... it's so cheap... it doesn't count... And then I realized... I don't f***ing need it.

Well, the Wildcard purchase didn't take long. Speaking of 'long,' gonna be a long year!

Oh, and this is a great mic, btw! Better than what I have, fo' sho'!

lol. Just found out that Thomann raised the price after the sale of my unit from €768 to €899. When I tell my wife I saved us €130, she just rolls her eyes and mumbles something about my idiosyncratic math.

I told her that the mic is great on female vocals, so that was something. My sweetie is a musician, too, so.....

It really is a great mic, lives up to expectations. I once rented an old 414 and it was probably the best mic I ever used. I bought one about 10 years ago, but it was very dull sounding. This one is damn good.

Just.... why am I feeling a cold sweat, chills, abdominal cramps, etc?

I meant that sincerely. I've seen, up-close and personal, how booze can destroy lives. I don't drink these days, but that is because of issues with blood-sugar and high BP. Alcohol was never my favourite poison, although I drank quite a bit between my late teens to late 20's. Now that I live in a country where local beer and wine are cheap, plentiful, and good, I don't drink. The Gods must be laughing.
