This nonsense is going to end one way or another. I will not come here day after day to see every damn thread derailed because of a few petty people.

They don't want to get the mods involved?

I'LL get the mods involved and we'll put an end to this once and for all.
:wheee: :dog:

Thanks guys. I've checked OBXD. Oh, It's a great synth!

TBH, I don't like its bass sound, But It sounds amazing w.r.t Synth brass and PAD sound.

With some chorus effects, It will be used in my actual work.

Thanks!

That is good, and so am I :)

I keep on buying them at least :D

But being an enthusiast it is good to devote time to more than just one or two synths.

Other synths than Legend needs love, and deserves to be bumped each day too,
I can only speak for myself, but most synths simply don't interest me, either. Maybe it is the same with Ingo. Some synths have a certain flair, the majority don't.
It might also be an age thing. I think Ingo is not the youngest anymore, either, so he might be more interested in synths that make classic sounds, such as Saurus, OBXD, etc. - and now Legend.
Wow. Usually, i don't dive into free synth.
But obxd seem great. Will check this out.
It's nice. :)
+1, in my top 10 free synths for sure!
What your TOP 10 free synths? May I have the list? :)
OBXD sounds nice!

Well, in the last few days (and also in some earlier cases) around 90% of my posts in this threads were about defending against BS that you and some others were posting here, not doing serious discussions about The Legend which is my ONLY intention.

At the moment for me it is IMPOSSIBLE to do any serious discussion about the synth here...

Besides that who are you to tell me for which synths i post here at KVR and which not?

Are yo kidding me? After all the trouble you caused here while i wanted to discuss the new features (including the Bandpass patches posted yesrerday and the audio demos i posted too) you now try to tell you just found out about the update? All my attempts discusiong about this were attacked by you and others that made a serious discussion impossible for me.

2 days ago you replied to the content of the newsletter that i had posted here after i received teh E-Mail:

Dear Synapse Audio User,

we have updated The Legend to v1.1. This update contains:

- A bandpass filter mode with two slopes, 12dB and 24dB.
- The bandpass filter is based on the same transistor ladder model as the lowpass filter is, and thus shares the same saturation characteristics.
- Support for Velocity and Aftertouch on the back panel. Velocity can be routed to volume or filter, Aftertouch can be routed to the modulation amount or filter.
- Factory library extended to 480 patches (about 60 patches are new).
- Minor bugfixes.
Thanks Synapse Audio. I'll give it a run thru at the w-end.

The new v1.10 update was also mentioned at Facebook now including a comment that the RE version will follow a few days after than the VST/AU version (which is alraedy available):

https://www.facebook.com/SynapseAudioOfficial
The Legend VST/AU has been updated to v1.1. This update introduces two bandpass filter modes (12/24 dB), adds support for Velocity and Aftertouch and extends the factory library to 480 patches. The Rack Extension version will be updated accordingly within a few days.

Somebody who actually owns the full version, is there an init patch? There is none for the demo. Just wondering if I have to create my own.

Thanks. Will be buying this today.

Doing your own init patch makes sense completely. Because tastes for OSC drift etc. are subjective.

Cool. I discovered, through the demo, that control click (or some combination of keys) set certain dials to a "default" position. I'm going to use that and then tweak whatever else I want to change.

Today's going to be totally Legend day here.

The full version has an INIT patch for both the synth and teh FX version but i also have my own one.

FWIW i use an Osc keytracking amount of 1.30 (INIT patch uses 1.00) but others seem to use different values. Too low values below 1.00 or even negative ones do not seems to be recommended.
Usually i also use Osc Drift (INIT patch uses 0) where the amount is a matter of taste.

There are also other parameters like e.g. Drive amount, saturation amount, pitchbend range etc. that you might want to have differently.
