Could you explain what exactly you are trying to accomplish that motivated this strategy? I ask this because I see, too often, people trying to cut down a tree with the butt end of a knife.

thanks for that, EXT2.6 vst should of worked in the host but didn't,
user donquixote put me on to an old EXT1.4 vst that worked and did the job.
