Interesting - how much times can reactivate soft elicenser license ? (the same unlimited times as in soft ilok, or there is a specific maximal amount attempts ?)
Just i in doubts - will be any sense register H6 to hardware elicenser? (if use single PC, but which can be upgrade).

Post

If it works the way Cubase Elements does: the soft licenser is tied to a computer, if you want to move to another computer, you need to get a dongle.

If you registered your eLicenser to your Steinberg account, they surely can reactivate your license. If not, i guess you have a bit of a bigger issue to do so. I guess Steinberg need prove that you bought it then, so, that'd be an invoice of the purchase. If you don't own that, i'm not sure if there's any way to reactivate your license. I guess there is somehow, but, dunno.

Does anyone know the release date yet? I thought that it was supposed to be early this month.

I thought it was tomorrow for some reason.
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

I could be wrong. Maybe the 14th is when they do their Valentine's Day sale.

It's hard keeping all this straight.

(But soft license restricts you to one installation only.)

windows 7 is no longer supported, system requirements are windows 8 or 10. does this mean that windows 7 is not supported or that one cannot install halion 6 under windows 7?
any of the beta testers around who can answer this? thanks

What a ridiculous move by Steinberg, especially considering Cubase & Wavelab both support and work well on Win7.

You're in an amazing state - so stay there.

W7 is dead, and for good after MS cutting off all support in 2020. You probably won't even be able to install H6 on it, because of some prerequisites. Live with it.
