no, that's what 1 guy is requesting. This is still a little hack but no PDC, and won't help with the use of reverbs or compressors in other mixer tracks. This is basicly what they are requesting
Does FLStudio have PDC?

And what about master + inserts?gol wrote:no, that's what 1 guy is requesting. This is still a little hack but no PDC, and won't help with the use of reverbs or compressors in other mixer tracks. This is basicly what they are requesting
There doesn't seem to be any complex logic with only these buses?

I'll up the ante.
I'll give you 10 USD if you stop the fanboy action for a while and put some effort into thinking for a change

there have been at least two people here that need it, and the some others seem to insist on using oldfashioned workarounds.gol wrote:no, that's what 1 guy is requesting. It's not a hack, it's just the simplest way of doing it. Besides, can you see any way this would not work? Also, it's the most efficient solution.
We have to start from simple things because you don't seem to understand the problem, and because you COMPLETELY dismiss these people. That coming from a developer just defies any logic to me, and especially with simple solutions at hand like this.
You can save implementing full PDC for later. I feel you on that. It will be a total bitch to do, but not impossible.

Its funny how if you are just satifsfied with a product as is and dont wish to have it include every feature possibly made you become a die hard fruity fan boy.
Why dont you direct your efforts to the plugin developers to come up with a plug in that doesnt require PDC?
I for one dont want to have more complexity added to FL studio, I want a low CPU sketch pad for my songs, and righ tnow that is what FL is, if image line adds every crap request that 1% of the user base whines about we are going to end up with a buggy unusable bloatware app that will no longer use. AS it is now, FL studio 4 is not as easy on the CPU as V3.

FL5 is full of totally cool stuff. PDC is boring.
I think thats how i feel about this whole thread.

i'm still waiting for my demo track showing the 61 cut-samples loops in action...

I knew I should have stopped already earlier. This is exactly the same reaction I got several years ago when posting about this problem. Do you little silly f*****s really understand that there are people using fruity for other stuff than composing? Remeber that is started out as a LOOP TOOL. This is what it's still best at IMO. I use it for music too but also for creating and expanding my own personal sample library. We are also working on a freeware sample site in our school that will be online soon. What takes gol maybe 20 minutes of coding would save me lots of time to make all these loops.
Like I've said already several times, I already know and constantly use the workaround but it simply amazes me that something this simple (and important) is left ignored. The other thing amazing me in this thread is the pre-teen behaviour from spaceman and some other people I don't care to mention. WTF is wrong with you people? Are you really just 12 years old or younger?
Anyways, I'll leave it at this and return to it when fruity goes v7 or so..
Cheers!
bManic
PS. Wopelka, I'll provide you with some examples of loops gone bad caused by 61 samples of silence once the sample website goes online, ok?

Sorry, not feeling you.
If plugs with latency give your trouble - don't use them. If you still want to use them - apply them outside of FL, in Soundforge for example.
What do you expect from us? Let's be more specific - from me for example? To join your cause?
I don't really care about PDC - i find other causes to be much more worth my involvement and lobbying and Gol doesn't feel like working on PDC because he finds other things to be more intersting and rewarding to work on.
Once PDC eventually makes it into FL in one form or another - i will go "yay PDC" and continue not caring about it.
This whole situation reminds me of those people chaining themselves to a pole in front of leather stores, spraying passers-by with spraypaint and screaming with hoarse voices - all while the rest of population looks at them with mild curiosity unable to feel that much emotional involvement over a leather coat.

Ok, first of all, did you actually read through the thread? Did you understant, at all, what I've been trying to say? Do you think you would even notice that something changed if gol would fix this little master output plugin compensation issue? Try UNDERSTANDING what it's about and how easy it is to implement, ok? It's not like I'm screaming for screensets, uber-sampler, god-synth or whatever.. And yes, I will ask Aleksey (the author of all voxengo plugins) if he can make a zero latency mode for Elephant but I doubt it's possible and still retain the sound. Elephant is actually giving me most headache with it's 23ms latency but I've yet to find anything that sounds even remotely as good.S_A_P wrote:Its funny how if you are just satifsfied with a product as is and dont wish to have it include every feature possibly made you become a die hard fruity fan boy.![]()

Btw. the definition for Fanboy as I see it is this:
" A person who fails to comprehend or is totally ignorant of the issue at hand and furiously fight on their idols side without giving a second thought ".
Reading through this thread and numerous other FL Studio related (Orion, Reason, Cubase too) threads you'll see what I mean. It'd be nice for a change to see people start thinking and discussing things more maturely, no?
Now be nice..

Well, when the definition fits, I think it's proper to call somebody that. But then again..spaceman wrote:bmanic wrote: Do you little silly fanboys really understand that there are people using fruity for other stuff than composing?![]()
