No. Program your own. Its not hard.
I actually agree with you. It's not hard.

Some people, however...

1) Would rather just pull up the patch they want immediately so that they can make music and not spend time making patches.

2) Hate the idea of making patches.

Heck, that's why almost every synth (yes, there are exceptions) comes with presets, for people who don't want to bother making their own.

I know 192k is too much :hihi:

Last time I did 44.1k vs 176.4k test with this synth.

Higher rate sounds better for me.
But there can be bugs in the sampling rate things.

I get the feeling from reading your posts here that you hate most people.

Indeed there are huge differences between the 5 examples.

I think it's a 32' saw mixed with a 16' triangle?
Zero attack on filter and amp, full amp sustain.

My guess: #5 is Legend.

Indeed it's a 32' saw mixed with 16' sine or triangle, but you missed the last one! Other than that, you guys all are right

It's Legend, Monark, RePro-1, Dune2 and last one is Sylenth1. The bass line is simple and there is no filter sweeping, although I used the envelope. As FLS noted, the envelopes are very different, add to that the filters and oscillators, then you have to try a lot to have similar results. Anyway, I would use such simple bass lines and sounds because there will be other instruments playing in the same time in a song, not only the bass ;)

Dune2 wasn't the easiest, but it was easier to program than other wavetable synths for such retro sounds. The other four are very easy to change the sound and get what you want. Sylenth1 is the surprise here but FLS already knew it well.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Was not sure between #1 and #5 for Legend.
#4 I've guessed Dune2 because of the huge diffs from note to note (poly synth).

I didn't quote either of you in my second post above, but I'm obviously in line with that you said. I like presets as a starting point. I like checking out examples of how far a synth can be pushed. I probably should have realized that asking about presets for a simple synth would get judgement from certain people in this forum.

Interesting. The only thing I was sure of is that #5 was not Legend 8)
What is wrong with Dune 2? Are those extreme, sudden changes normal?
Monark and Repro (2 and 3) sound pretty similar.

I have set Dune 2 to Mono! Anyway, those are snapshots of the presets. There are some differences here and there, but I was interested only in the characteristic differences of the synths.

It is no surprise about the three retro synths, but I was surprised of the ability of both Dune 2 and Sylenth 1. Dune 2 has different kind of analogish filters, while Sylenth1 is definitely not only for EDM!!

So, the snapshots:

I just reproghammed both here and alraedy before that i noticed some major differences in the patches for The Lehgend and Monark:
- In Monark filter keytracking was to 100% where in Legend it was off (both switches off)
- In Moanark you used the Feedback and the Drive in Legend while in Monark the "Overload" should be closer to the Drive in Legend
- The Cutoff in Monark was set too high

Here is a screenshot of my first own approach for the Monark patch (based on the settings in The Legend) which now sounds very similar to The Legend here:

I did set the global octave in Monark to 0 as this matches better to the Legend patch here.

You're welcome. :)

The filter keytracking difference alone was quite obvious before i even reprogrammed those and this parameter has a big influenece on the overall sound.
