I know I'll regret this....

"Knock Me Up!"

http://www.victorlams.com/kvr-vst/08-04 ... _me_up.mp3

Thought everyone could use a dose of the Funk. And Funk goes best with a healthy dose of nasty dubble entendre. "Knock me up" I'm told can mean "pay a visit to" in the UK (as in "knock upon the door of me"), although in the states it pretty much just means to impregnate someone.

All instruments: Ravity(s)
('cept for Drums which are SonicSynth 1 with a bit o' SuperCamelPhat applied).

Effects are Voxengo Voxformer & Lexicon Pantheon wid a lil' Ozone on the mix.

And that's it.

Enjoy!
GLHF! (Gandalf Lives, Hobbits Forever!)

erm ... its all gone horribly wrong ...

... heehee - something a little more conventional from me this month ...

... jamming around 'live' in live4 (plus a LITTLE post-processing) with a range of loops and samples found on my HD while sorting through ready for the transfer to the new laptop (some ive made ... some ive bought ... some ive downloaded (thanks rurik among others !!! )) ...

... plus the usual pHz raft of effects

pHz - candy bullet

Been listening to the new Ministry CD for the last week.

Way of Life

http://www.rustedmonkey.com/music/08-04 ... f_Life.mp3

Recorded in Tracktion
All effects stock with Tracktion except:

mgTriggerGate
SimulAnalog Guitar Sweet (vocals)

The shorting out noises in the beginning are actually me setting a mic next to my monitors, hitting play in Tracktion, and then recording the sound of me sweeping the cursor back and forth over the existing wav. I thought it sounded snazzy. You will say it’s noise. Its under two minutes though which is better than I did last month. :D

This month's Yagushi track is entitled "Foolish Cybernetic Gyaru"!

http://www.yagushi.com/mp3/KvR/2004_08_23_Yagushi.mp3

I have good news and bad news... The good news is that my track doesn't feature all vocoded singing... I'm still not achieving the level of intelligibility I want from Fruity Vocoder... but there's still a single vocoded line: "Sayonara, Baka Gyaru!" (Not that you'll be able to understand it! :P )

The bad news is that I do my best half-assed Louis Armstrong/Tom Waits/Fat Albert impersonation as a substitute for the vocoder! :o :o :o

I wonder how many of you girls are asking yourselves this question tonight?

Listen...

"Why is this song called Casimir Funk?"

Matchbook cover art and more here. Made with DP4, Live 4, Juno 60, Moog Prodigy, the worst recorded bass in history, at least one guitar, cheesy organ, many Pluggos, Supatrigga, Eqium, Apple Matrix Reverb, 4 Sierra Nevadas and 1 Otter Creek Copper Ale. Quantization is for sissies.

EDIT: I forgot the most important part: There's a bunch of samples in here... See if you can figure out what!
