He doesn't seem to be. I suppose it'll be done when it's done. Until then version 1 still works well for me.

The very first post I ever made to KVR with the h....y account was complaining about "guitar rig" saying they'd have an update for UB by a certain date an then it wasn't. The trolling was epic!

Frankly, my attitude is that they announced a LONG LONG LONG time ago. People like updates and upgrades, they don't want to wait a year or more for it regardless of a certain crowd

That being said, even if it's a fixed date (which I don't believe there was) there can be setbacks. Priorities, etc.

He IS keeping it, because he said many times it would be free for FG-X owners.

Not keeping it would mean it has been released, and is a paid upgrade.

It's still in development, so let's wait and see.

You'll save yourself a lot of trouble when you just add 12-16 months to any Slate announcement. It's worked quite consistently that way for a long time now. For example FG-Swiss / FG-Stress is still totally on schedule!

I'm still waiting for my 'promised upgrade'... 2 years now (I think).

He's not a fraud to be fair, they are very sluggish with some of their plugins. Everything is 'just around the corner' - But he doesn't say how big the corner actually is.

It will get here... eventually.
