Except XILS which other third party devs are still using that copy protection system?

Is there an uninstaller in windows? I can't find it. If no, how do you uninstall the elicenser version?

Awesome! I bought Largo and Nave through NI and this probably why I didn't get an email from Waldorf. But the codes in my NI account worked with the Waldorf eLicenser converter. Just downloading the new versions now to try the authentication.

The elicenser license still works on the previous versions of their software. Much like arturia, the new software revisions don't recognize or use the elicenser.electro wrote:Does activating the transfer void the elicenser license?rod_zero wrote:Very good news,
Does anyone knows how license transfers work now?

Same for me. No uninstaller at all on windows . I simply installed the new version over the old version.rod_zero wrote:Is there an uninstaller in windows? I can't find it. If no, how do you uninstall the elicenser version?
I found one issue: The new version include different presets and there are located on another filepath. So I had to point the PPG file browser to the old version presets path to have the old ones in place.

Or you may just copy them to the new place. It's not like they will take too much HD space. They are very small files.emulator01 wrote:Same for me. No uninstaller at all on windows . And if you don't plan to use the old version anymore, you may simply delete the old file location even.

That's how it was for me. As soon as I downloaded the new version it made me re-authorize with the new scheme. The elicenser was no longer recognized for it.

There is an uninstaller for the single formats in the specified locations they were installed to. So, for the VST, the uninstaller is in the VST folder you installed to, for the VST3, it's in ProgramFiles/Common FIles/VST3, and so on. Dunno why they didn't add a global uninstaller. Would have been nice.rod_zero wrote:Is there an uninstaller in windows? I can't find it. If no, how do you uninstall the elicenser version?

I have Nave and Largo. I got them installed and authorized with the new keys. They were the only licenses I had on the eLicenser. Does anyone know if now can those eLicenser licenses be removed and eLicenser re-used by someone else? How many authorizations are allowed now using the new system?
