I love the stubby ones, too. I especially like the smaller ones, the real thick, small stubbies. Alternatively, I like the really thick Jim Dunlop picks. I don't remember the numbers right off the top of my head, but they would be like XXX-heavies.I never had much trouble with the big stubby...
Doesn't kill your strings as well

Ditto here. It's an uncommon style, and people always ask me where my pick is.
