Ah, I see you put the compressor and delay-tap module in as activated in the base configuration. I was expecting only the filter module. Good idea - MXXXCore has some *serious* potential even without any other modules.

Also, nice job on the activation map guideline.

Am I the only one who can't see MXXXCore in the installation?

999 Euros. :dog:

But for 999 Euros you do get a 900 Euro pair of glasses ;)

MXXXCore is 99 Euros

I meant the Mxxx complete, not core version.

Ah OK - my mistake.

MXXX is on an introductory price of 599 Euros at the moment and provides much of the functionality of the MTotalBundle of ~80 plug-ins.

All Nomad Factory would need is to expand their grid framework somewhat, add a feedback capability, a band splitter, some MS/LR converters and a few other utilities and it would give MXXX a serious run for its money. It looks to me like NF is 90% of the way there to having a serious MXXX competitor.
:tu:

As long as MXXXCore can only be used with Melda FX, it's not only the 99€ You wanna do some serious stuff, you have to buy another plugin or bundle. MXXX could be a game changer if we were able to host 3rd party plugins. But then most likely noone would buy MeldaProduction Stuff to use it inside MXXX  Unfortunately this will never happen.

No i don't think that you did a mistake with the 99€ advice. OP clearly talked about a single plugin when the thread here started back in april what MXXXCore finally is. The MXXX as Bundle with 70+ plugins wasn't his point.

Most people who are interested in MXXXCore have already bundles or single plugins from Melda, indeed that was the reason MXXXCore was created after MXXX was released. Also keep in mind that Core comes with a basic set which is awesome for a $99 ($50 on sale) plugin. :hihi:

Unfortunately I think it is a brainer because you have to calculate first which additional plugins you need to buy... The core is very basic. I could buy HOFA system instead which has at least a reverb in it :hihi:

I was thinking as it can be used to upgrade to the full version of MXXX.

Oh I see. Sorry, my fault :dog:

Very basic? i think that depends on how much time you are willing to spend with it. It's a totally different beast to HOFA System.

The cascading modular system with feedback opens all kind of doors for creativity.

Even with just mxxxcore you can create massively complex delays with the included delay tap and filter modules (which you can use to make a reverb too if you want), through to full blown synths using multiple instances of the included highly spec'd oscillator and filter modules - there's even a midi arpeggiator in there too.

Then you can create control panels for what you've created and modulate every aspect to a staggering degree with LFO's, step sequencers, envelopes etc.
