So has this been rebuilt or is SynthEdit 64-bit now? It might be a bit facetious of me to assume the original was done in SynthEdit

Very good news! Unfortunately, there is a major bug: the plugin is not samplerate agnostic, but instead the DSP seems to assume a samplerate of 44.1 kHz or something. Running the plugin e.g. with 96 kHz host samplerate causes significant change in tone, e.g. filter frequencies shifted by one octave. Since I work in 96 kHz, this is a showstopper for me.

Definitely a big (seen that several times in my 10 years of beta testing for various companies) - hope you sent in a report.

In fact, I did send in a mail as well, asking if there is a WATKAT update in the pipe as well. We'll see how this goes.

I really like the way this sounds, and as a windows user I'm glad to see what I thought for sure would be 32-bit forever get modernized for users like me at least.

Sounds really nice, works well, now it's 64-bit. Cool.

Edit: Unfortunately though I bought this and Type 4 in 2010, the license keys given to me in email at the time no longer work. Both are rejected as NOT VALID even though I'm copying and pasting from the emails w/ licensing information. So I can't try the update, though I'm sure it's neat?

I've emailed the developer, hopefully he can help.

I bought i back in 2009 but I admit i have not used this pugin for a while as there was no 64-bit until now.

I just installed the new update at Windows 10 64-bit and when i opened the plugin in Live 9 64-bit the old license (name and serial) worked without a problem here.

I bought my license in 2007 iirc. The old serial and key worked fine for me.

GS-201 goes 64bit
