Regarding Cell, well... what i see here is that the dev has been silent now again for, like, more than half a year, and all of a sudden, as Adam Szabo comes out with his Virus emulation, shows signs of life for this project again. Of course, with only a few GUI sniplets, but no sound demos. Well, i know where i rather put my money at the moment TBH. Seriously, this synth was announced 5 years ago now. When will it ever be released? I know there have been problems regarding the development of this synth, and i sincerely am sorry for that, but, the excitement has really cooled down on my part with the years i'm watching this project now.

I think the bias itself is rather "imagined".
I don't have any bias, i just wonder why to use 32-bit software on a 64-bit OS, when 64-bit is available as an option, and so many plugins are available as 64-bit versions now.

Hi.fmr wrote:Yes, I'd say this looks promising. Can you unveil us the overall architecture? I saw that it will have four oscillators, and it seems there's some sort of additive wave construction (or at least phase manipulation) for them... What about the filter(s)? How many types will it have?
Here is a partial list of specifications, will later block diagram.
4 oscillator (12 each Voice).
Each Voice is configured independently for Octave, semitone, fine tuning + oscillator parameters for each voice separately. each phase of the Voisey Management in Fix mode (fixing the phase from 0 to 360), and the level of influence for each phase fries Voice separately.
For each oscillator, and a customizable unison Detune.
4 types of oscillators (Sine, HWT, MCO, PWM).
2 stereo filter (Filter Independent control of the left and right channels), a total of four filter (1 - L, R), (2-L, R), filter punch, Drive.
Full Voice Sync and FM. (The first oscillator Master, 2,3,4 Slave).
The mixer has parameters: oscillator mix, panorama of the oscillator, filter mix (1 or 2 filter), Amplitude Punch, 3 processor ring.
6 envelopes 6 the LFO, modulation matrix is built in a similar way to the Spire (the same principle and the same modulation capabilities), 18 slots (Two source and 4 Dest).
Step Sequencer (this is probably the most interesting module).
32 stages, each stage has a setting: a note, a long note, octave notes. The note has the ability to trigger mode setting (each note can be a trigger for any envelope as well as control the frequency of any of the four oscillators selectively or simultaneously all).
Step sequencer operates in the note ON and synchronizes the pattern to a host (like Groovebox). There is also a mode of start-up notes.
And it has more than 1100 MIDI Learn Knob control, carefully hidden in the tabs of the various blocks.
Sincerely Anjey.

Я вам маякнул на RMM. Если это ваш аккаунт, то там и поговорим о бета тестировании.SoulState wrote:You have 4 days left =)))Anjey_Olaf wrote: The release will happen until the new year.

Good joke. I'm working with some critical bugs in the GUI. GUI is very heavy. Do not compare the Viper and CELL, synthesizers are different possibilities (CELL has a 554 line destination in the modulation matrix). I like the Viper, I like what Adam does, but it is not CELL (forgive me, Adam). The CELL I use the original sampling tables from C Virus (147 steps per half-periods wave table). All who wish to participate in the beta test write to me in PM. It remains to wait a little bit, and then wait for your critics (standing or not standing me five years to work for such an outcome). Sorry for the snippy comment, wasn't meant to be mean or anything. I can only imagine what a complex work coding has to be, and how difficult it has to be to meet "deadlines", or expectations. Cell looks very nice indeed, and i wish you all the best for the project.

In order for you to understand the complexity of the project, I will show you a screen Voice manager first oscillator (of 4 oscillator). At the moment, I fix bugs in the interface (problems in the interaction of the automation and interface). The crude product did not want to release.

CELL is bascially all hidden references to numbers, maybe that hides a clue to the release date?:

I can't believe 2 great sounding virus inspired synths are finally about to be released and they are both 32 bit. Thy is some weird bad luck.
