I'm looking to replace my cheap basic desk with something a little more studio.
I need little very little in the way of rack space. But some would be nice.
I need a slide out keyboard shelf as playing a music keyboard which is set behind a computer keyboard is annoying.
I want it to look stylish/modern.
It can't have a high rear shelf as it'd block my 50" display monitor, which is on a tall floor stand, and my speakers are large 3-way midfield monitors which are also on their own tall stands.
Looking to spend around £1000, give or take.
After browsing for a few hours I've come up with the following:-
Zaor Miza M £600. http://www.dv247.com/studio-equipment/z ... 0wodvjAA3Q
Would do the job but it's damn ugly.
Skyline Audio Producer Pro desk £1100. http://sxpro.co.uk/skyline-hurricane-producer-pro49
Liking this the most so far..
Music Store Maxxstation £600. http://www.dv247.com/studio-equipment/m ... ch--221328
Ugly slab of wood with no style.
Buso Audio Producer XL £1387 https://www.thomann.de/gb/buso_audio_pr ... cherry.htm
Far too expensive for chipboard.
I'd love a Argosy Halo but it's £3k for a kitted out version and I think the rack wings would be far too high for my midfield monitors to sit behind.
So I'm heading towards the Skyline Audio desk, but before I bite the bullet is there anything else out there I may have missed?
This is what I'm coming from..

Current stands put screen and midfield monitors at 85cm so they can't really go much higher.

cheers, but that back shelf thing is far too high. I've owned a quicklok desk in the past and it was bad enough looking up with a 24" monitor, never mind a 50" monitor. I've already asked them if they'd do a version without the back shelf and they wouldn't.
