If anyone has Cubase 9 and sKnote plugins, let me know if they are showing up in the insert racks.
On my rig the plugins are showing in the plugin manager. Not blacklisted and in one subfolder of the root vstplugins.
XTrim shows fine.
The following do not; Bus_64, Cuttertone_64, Disto_64, Polyjam_64, Presence_64, Rev_250, Soundbrigade_64, Strip_64.
Downloaded all the latest yesterday just to check. Have dropped Quinto a support email late last night, just wondering if anyone can replicate or unique to my setup?
Windows10x64
Cubase 9.01x64
Thanks in advance.

That doesn't explain why they were showing in the plugin manager but not the plugin list on the inserts.MFXxx wrote:Ive been a muppet! I've already got them installed in other directories so not showing up in the sknote folder..

For example Disto was installed in both the sknote sub directory and the dynamics sub directory.
You are correct they should both show up, however the older file (which was the same version), showed up in dynamics and the one in the sknote folder didnt.
I can only assume its due to them being duplicated and they show the original not the newer?

Sorry, when you said folder I read as folder on your HD, not folder in the plugin manager. Makes sense now. And yes, it won't display plugins it can't find.MFXxx wrote:For example Disto was installed in both the sknote sub directory and the dynamics sub directory.

I wasn't aware you can have one plugin show up in two different places in your plugin manager, only if you had both vst2 and vst3 installed and they both showed up (some vst3 use the same id as vst2 and once installed the vst2 never show in Cubendo), and you put them in different directories as you call them.

The plugins were already installed (I've just done a fresh install/recall). Disto and other plugins were installed in both the sknote sub directory and the individual sub directories ie Dynamics (disto), Tools (xtrim), Mastering (soundbrigade).
The more recent dlls (disto, xtrim, soundbrigade all the same version releases as in the individual sub directories) in the sknote directory didn’t show up but the previously installed ones did.
All directories were subfolder in the main vstplugin folder C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins
I can only assume it's due to them being duplicated and they show the original not the newer installed dll?
Hope this all makes sense.
I agree often when vst3 are active the vst2 versions dont show, however I tend to tidy everything up in the plugin manager as to what shows and doesnt.
Footnote..Quinto responded positively which I have to say is great on a weekend.
