My system (relevant info):
Motherboard: Asus X99-A
CPU: Intel i7 5820k @4.4GHz
RAM: 2x Corsair Vengeance 8GB 2400MHz (=16 GB)
Storage: Samsung 850 Evo 1 TB
OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Audio Interface: Focusrite Scarlett 2i4
Long story short, I get crackling/stuttering similar to buffer underruns whenever I adjust the volume when listening to both Spotify and local files, as well as when I pause/play the music.
I've disabled fastboot since before, so that's not causing it. I've tried shifting between different settings in the driver, with no luck. I don't have any wireless adapter enabled.
This hasn't been around since forever, it just appeared a while ago, can't remember anything specific change or so with the PC around then though.

Summary from all other threads:
- Try other sample rate. For some it only works with 44,1, for some only with 48
- Try other USB ports. Don't use USB 3.0 ports
- Try to use a USB 2.0 (not 3.0) hub in between PC and interface
If nothing helps, send it back and get a refund (if you still can)
