Reaktor ensembles - analog emulations

I've been searching for an all-purpose, warm-sounding subtractive VA synth for Reaktor since I got the program as part of Komplete. However, having used both Google and NI's Reaktor user library, all I've found are experimental synths or "monster" digital synths - not really what I'm looking for. I'm still not experienced enough to create such an ensemble myself, though I'm working on it. I got my hopes up when I heard of a Virus emulation for Reaktor 3, but I've had no luck in finding it.

Does anyone have any recommendations for the type of ensemble I am looking for?

(also: mods, please move this topic if it's in the wrong forum - I thought this one seemed most appropriate though)

A few of my favorite analog subtractives are the SH-2k and Junatik from Reaktor. Me2SaLem and Uranus I like as well.

DevonB touched on a few of the best. I'd also add the good ol' Manymood. It's a decent Minimoog emulation (tho it doesn't stack up to the dedicated Minimoog VSTis in the marketplace today).

I love Reaktor, but when I need VA, I tend to turn to RGCAudio's offerings.

I seem to recall trying the SH2k and Uranus and not being particularly impressed.. though I do use Junatik regularly for its astounding dance/trance capabilities. I'll check them out again when I get home. I'll also grab Me2SaLem, since that looks good as well.

I like James Walker Hall's 3X quite a bit. Sounds great and is fairly simple to program.

Sorry for the promo, but you may also want to check my own Reaktor collection. ;-)

There's alotta good stuff in that collection!

I don't know if you plumbed the full depths of the user Library, but I remember seeing VA's for just about everything in the synths area..Someone did a rather uncomfortably close Juno clone last month that was outstanding, but the really good emus I saw there had been in place for some time.

Amphytron is another beauty from him, but it's not free.

you might try asking liqih if his virus (not quite an) emulation is available.

Nope. They were a part of the Reaktor 2.3 library, so I have no idea if it's on the website or not? I haven't done much research on what they did to get people the ensembles from the older versions to someone who just bought Reaktor 4, mainly because I've had them on CD for forever. :?

I think Me2SaLem is part of the Premium Reaktor3 instrument download for R4-it's on the NI site somewhere.

Ya, I was trying to remember if it's Premium or Essential section? With the way R4 is set up now, I just plop all my favorites into one folder and double click, so I don't even think about it now. Either way, it's in the Subtractive folder.
