Well, February has come and went, and so has the deal on Puigchild, I just let it go, nothing else compelling. March is looking schlocky though, nothing AT ALL that I have any interest in.
It's going to be harder to spend this coupon than I thought.

Waves has their mission accomplished: you have fallen into their trap and you're actively watching what to buy next!

Exactly! I've got some great Waves deals, I like some of their stuff, I'm just not going to drop coin for just anything.incubus wrote:He's mean.
But the waves offerings that I saw were pathetic in the last ad. Mostly stuff I wouldn't want for free.

Metafilter was recently 49$. Really sweet deal. One of the Waves plugins I would definitely get.

I saw that, not my thing really. I don't think that there's much that's better than Reaktor for that. I don't really look to Waves for synths, time effects, or creative effects really, I don't think that is where their strength lies.robotmonkey wrote:Metafilter was recently 49$. Really sweet deal. If there were one other plugin that I wanted as much as puigchild I would have picked that up. The thing with Waves is that since I don't "need" anything that they do, I just wait for screaming deals on stuff that I want.
I probably won't buy anything this month unless they have some strange out of the ordinary special because there's nothing in the monthly specials that I'm interested in AND the price is low enough.

I'm pretty much in the same situation myself. I have most of the Waves plugins that I need. There are of course couple I would like to add one time or another but generally I do not need any new plugins at all. From Waves or anyone else. So I consider getting anything only when there's some really sweet deals and I feel that it adds something to my setup I did not have before.
I passed Metafilter for that reason. I have Tone2 BiFilter V3 that I got once free with Beat Mag and this does everything Metafilter does. Metafilter sounds better and has way better interface, but I seldom use external filters anyway. I will probably pick it up sometime though.

H-Delay on sale. Heard really good things about it. Anyone use it regularly?

I don't have it, but, it's in gold, which can be had for fairly cheap once or twice a year. I paid $9 for H-Comp and that's about what I'd be willing to pay for H-Delay as well. Same with the VSeries stuff. It doesn't make sense to me to pay $50 for those plugins.DrGonzo wrote:H-Delay on sale. Heard really good things about it. Anyone use it regularly?
