Ok i didn't look much for topics about this here in KVR but omni has a few years now and i'd love if they would spend 1 week (or whatever) creating a few new skins (i'd love one mainly black)!

I like omnisphere design but after a few years it gets _____________

i'll just leave a link:
http://www.muzykuj.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=1408

Otherwise i think i'll have to spend sometime making one myself.....

Post

Not sure I understand.. the page you linked to does not show any new "skins", but rather some user hacked changes.

There have not been any alternate "skins" or graphic customization for Omnisphere available before and there are no plans I know of to make them.

Post

Right, like there used to be in sylenth before the last update, it would be nice if spectrasonics released some "official" alternative skins.

Shouldn't be that complicated or take much time to make those alternative "official" skins...

Post

FWIW, I'd rather Spectrasonics spent the time on literally anything else.

Yes, like an update to Stylus RMX...

Post

First: I wish Omnisphere would consistently display the currently selected filter type.
Second: I also wish it had a decent portamento section.
Third: Better patch tagging and categorization
...
...
Forty-second: New skins

I've been wanting a deep blue skin for a long time :)

i'm with you Soarer!

i'd like to have:
- filter type selection arrows or a menu that didn't close everytime you change filter type
- Mod Matrix modulated dry/wet per slot
etc, etc...

but you can already modulate LFO's and MSEG's dry/wet/depth so it's not imperative to me
... and i make custom filters 90% of times anyway....

still would prefer new skins over all that! :hihi:

you'd think that with a 500 dollar pricetag you'd get 1 or 2 extra skins, huh?

No but 12000 patches and tons of sound sources and and and.... :D
I wonder what is your personal problem with Omnisphere 2 (or in general more expensive payed software) Did it hurt you in some ways?

oooooh 12000 patches where most sound the same.

its over priced and over rated glorified rompler
with most of its patches drenched in effects
to make the otherwise thin highly compressed
samples sound good. no problems here, pal.

Well, of course you have all the right to judge it this way if that´s your opinion.
For me it´s sound like you take too much drugs :D
Have fun dude.

Oh yeah Layzer. You're entitled to rant continuously about this, but it does not make your thinking a point.
Thin? Phfff.. yeah right.

And it cost 300€ :) Worth every € at least 12000 times.

Anyway, skins? Nah. More like one filter for 2 oscs :P

Terrible looking hacked skin. Jesus..
