Disclaimer: I have got permission from Henry to release this updated library which is Free or Donationware, Thanks Henry.

Q-Clone Software is a Waves product and Henry used it to Capture impulses from Analog Hardware Devices (Preamps, EQ's, Mics, Amps & etc) now these impulses sound great on there own but i highly recommend you to use them in conjunction with Nebula from Acustica Audio.

Q-Clone is not a preset Based Program, and browsing presets from the menu was just to tedious to do with third-party releases. (Too many mouse clicks) Since i come from a Engineering & Technical Background, i thought of ways of speeding up the workflow and i believe i have found it, so I set out a plan, researched & investigated and Voila.

Now to the Masterpiece,
Without going into detail, from 11,121 xps to 683 xps (Xps= Presets), it was a HUGE undertaking of 130 Hours, like Henry said "A Labour of Love".

It would've taken months without my Custom Batch Processing of Label-ling, Organizing, Batching, Merging & Deleting, i didn't think i was going to ever finish lol but it was well worth it.

There are Two Versions available with a Third Optional one for self organizing in the Preset Menu included in version 1 Named "Q-Clone Folders For Menu Presets"

Version 1, is the original Library version updated to be browser friendly

Version 2, is my Custom Category version that organizes libraries by type:
Acoustic Guitars
Drums
Mastering
Tape
Vocals
& etc.

For those of you that have this library Paid or Free, here is a Demo from the Collection: Henry Olonga - Mastering Tools, Presence (Also view attach Pictures below)

(So you can test yourself with Q-clone, load the preset and you can now use the left to right arrows and load button at the main menu to see the presets. Amazing)

Looks awesome and a lot of hard work!

I'm getting a "Error (429) - This account's links are generating too much traffic and have been temporarily disabled!" message at the moment.

I hope you find a way to reupload them or that the limit will be lifted so that I can try them :)

Thanks for sharing this!

Very interested in the Packs but not interested in setting up a Dropbox Account.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Very interested in these, looks like you've addressed one of the main barriers to using the originals. Good work (when I can manage to DL them)

The links are working again for me. Thanks :tu:

Aloysius, you shouldn't need a dropbox account: just close the login/register prompt and you will be able to access the bare download link.

Excellent. Thanks. I'll give it a go. :)

Update: The downloads worked right away this time. Quick too. Thanks again @l3x!5, Real Sonically and Henry.

This must of been a ton of work, Thanks Real Sonically!

Thanks guys, it was alot of work.

I noticed alot of people are downloading, and the hosting site disabled the link, i will add mirrors shortly.

I don't have have the greatest upload speed, but if you can wait it would be worth your while.

If you have any other Q-clone collection that could use some of this tenderness, feel free to contact me.

There seem to be a few active download links at the following Gearslutz Thread.

I've ignored any links to Henry Olonga. I think you have that covered. :)

From Page 01:

here is the smallest lot (still a long upload time sheesh) the filter section HP and LP.11 increments for each. There wasn't any difference with the E button in or out so you get em like this. By the way I did A/B's between the clones and the strip and although the ssl has that crunch when pushed, at low gains it was pretty hard to tell. I'd say these are 90% the sound of the original unit. Quite tasty

For all you anal monkeys out there...yes the flat setting so you can pretend that you have an ssl mixer!

From Page 04:

Its an assortment of synth filters guitar pedals and setups that sounded cool in some mixes.

Here's some from my Daking EQ

From Page 06:

https://www.gearslutz.com/board/attachm ... phonic.xls

First one is of the fantastic low cut and low shelf of a certain very clean andFreq-y little EQ. Black face, silver knobs. I really liked the fixed low shelf and fixed frequencies of the low cut on this. It's a great 18db cut filter with a little bump at the cutoff frequency so that it keeps the low-end nice and big while cutting. The Low shelf is 6db / oct and the corner frequency is set at 120hz. I sampled both cut and boost at 2 db increments.

The rest of the EQ was clean and it would have taken tons of time to sample it all - none of which you can't already get from a clean plugin EQ already. But I really liked the cut filter since it was different, and there's not many cut filters out there, especially at 18db. I sampled the fixed low shelf also because between the low shelf and the cut filter, running two instances of Qclone (one for the cut filter and one for the shelf) you can really get a great low end happening with this IR set alone.

The second one is of my brown faced EQ that's boost only and specializes in making things clearer. I sampled the knobs at set positions - 9 o clock, 11 o clock, noon, 1 o clock, 3 o clock and full boost.
The legend is: L = Lift, O = open, T= Tight, D=Diffuse.

I sampled these using very short 1 ft mogami XLR cables and using a Mytek 8x192 converter, so the IRs should be very accurate.

VERY IMPORTANT! I had trouble uploading because Gearslutz didn't accept the suffix of the files. So I changed them to a recognized one (XLS). If you want these to work with Qclone, after downloading, make sure to change the file's suffix to XPS. For example, FREAQy.xls should be RENAMED to FREAQy.xps for it to work with Qclone. Thanks!
